McCoy had seemed to be on the mend throughout the week from his spell with croup but by the time Grammy and Papa left on Sunday he was starting to act more and more under the weather again. We decided to make a trip to Pediatric Urgent Care because the few nights before that were pretty rough. It turns out he was acting ill because he developed an ear infection secondary to the drainage from the croup. McCoy started his first antibiotic…amoxicillin (or “bubblegum medicine” as I so fondly remember it!).

As McCoy was getting better every day, Kyle was getting worse and a few days after that, I too was plagued with the crud! It was a tough week :-(
