7/28/09 - 6 Months Old!!!

McCoy is 6 months old today!!! He has been pulling his knees up under him for weeks now and Judy, our daycare lady, informed us that McCoy was “scooting” down the hallway to the toy room today! We have noticed him pull his knees up under him and then stretch out his arms like an inch worm…he is on his way.

He had his 6 month well-baby exam today. He weighs 16 lb 15 oz and is 27 ¾ inches long. Dr. Coffey said he is growing perfectly. We told her about the scooting thing and she said babies that are this active have a tendency to be “fearless” which means they walk sooner, climb a lot and have more energy…GREAT!!!
